 The “newest” injectable is neither a relaxer or volume replacer, but Kybella, the FDA-approved injectable for dissolving the submental fat under your chin, sometimes referred to as “turkey neck” or “double chins”.

Kybella is deoxycholic acid, a naturally occurring molecule in the body that aids in the breakdown and absorption of dietary fat. When injected into subcutaneous fat, it causes the destruction of fat cells. Once destroyed, those cells cannot store or accumulate fat.
