Dr. Cynthia Hoffmeier
Owner and Medical Director
Dr. Cynthia Hoffmeier is the medical director and owner of Simply Skin Medical Spa.
With 30 years of medical experience in Clarion, she is the first physician in the area to specialize in aesthetic skincare and non-invasive laser therapies for the improvement and maintenance of healthy skin.
She is committed to keeping abreast of the latest developments in cosmetic rejuvenation and trains with renowned physicians across the United States to offer the most effective options for skin health and appearance.
She is board certified in family practice, and is emphatic that skin care is an important component of total health care. After closing her primary care practice in 2018, she has shifted her total focus and has extended her care to the community to offer evaluation and treatment of skin conditions such as acne, skin irritation, removal of abnormal skin lesions, and treatment of varicose and spider veins, to name a few.
However, she is passionate about anti-aging skin care and knows that most patients want to avoid surgery, therefore she has trained and been certified to perform multiple non-invasive injectable procedures and laser therapies.
She has been recognized by Allergan as a Master Injector of Botox and the Juvederm family of dermal fillers. She is also certified to inject the Restylane family of products, including Sculptra which is a long-lasting collagen stimulator.
Dr. Hoffmeier is certified in lasers that address skin tightening, photorejuvenation, laser hair removal, treatment of cellulite, and circumferential reduction, and most recently Mona Lisa Touch for female vaginal rejuvenation.
Dr. Hoffmeier is a native of Rochester, Pennsylvania. She received her Bachelor of Science in Chemistry and Biochemistry from Gannon University in Erie, and received her Doctor of Osteopathy at Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine, in Kirksville, Missouri. She completed post graduate training at Doctors Hospital in Columbus, Ohio.
She resides in Clarion and has enjoyed lecturing many times in the community on topics of Women’s Health and Skin Care.
